SITUATED IN THE
VILLAGE OF ZAHARA de la Sierra, the Hotel has a restaurant and
17 rooms, 16 doubles and 1 single, all air- conditioned, with
telephone and TV. It is well positioned for country holidays and
rural tourism. Zahra is considered the gateway of the Grazalema
Sierra Natural Park. You can make excursions to El Pinsapar and
trips or walks along the deep mountain gorges, especially the
renowned Garganta Verde, a heavenly place leading to the Ermita
de la Garganta (Hermitage of the Gorge).
Zahara de la Sierra. Founded by the Arabs in the 8th century,
Zahara de la Sierra is in the northern part of Grazalema Natural
Park. Its beautiful mountain slopes are covered with Spanish Fir
trees, and nearby is the Gateway of the Doves and the banks of
the Millstream. Here you can find Europe´s largest population
of griffon vultures. Declared a National Monument of Historical
Artistic importance and winner of National Prize for Visual Improvement.
